LANDER, WYOMING, MARCH 3, 2010 - Lowham - Walsh Engineering and Environmental Services LLC (Lowham Walsh) has announced its formation as a new consulting engineering firm specializing in applied hydrologic science, environmental and engineering analyses.
“With the formation of Lowham Walsh, we are adding to Lowham’s extensive capabilities in surface water engineering for the natural gas industry with a broad spectrum of environmental capabilities in the energy and natural resource business,” said Hugh Lowham, founder of Lowham. “Thus, Lowham Walsh will be well-positioned to solve the complex issues associated with our clients’ resource development projects.”
Lowham was established in 1997 as a consulting engineering firm specializing in applied hydrologic science and engineering analysis in hydrology and water resources. Since that time, the Lander and Gillette-based company has become an established leader in water management for the coal bed methane industry throughout Wyoming’s Powder River Basin.
As Lowham Walsh, the two companies have merged resources to expand their combined service offering throughout the state of Wyoming. They will also pursue new opportunities throughout the Northern Great Plains states.
