Environmental Health & Safety Services Manager - Walsh Environmental, Boulder, Colorado seeks a senior professional to manage IH and safety consulting services department. Responsible for business development and growth of IH consulting practice. Requires in-depth knowledge of IH, safety, OSHA regulations, industry codes and standards. Must have expertise with diverse issues such as air monitoring for chemical and biological contaminants; monitoring for physical agents such as noise, ionizing radiation, non-ionizing radiation; evaluation of office, industrial, and laboratory ventilation systems; indoor air quality; engineering controls and personal protective equipment; hazardous materials management; and litigation support. Strong working knowledge of related practice areas such as environmental compliance or human health risk assessment highly desirable. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills; business development and customer service skills; proficiency in technical and proposal writing; problem solving abilities. Needs an undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or related science; advanced degree preferred; Certified IH or Certified Safety Professional; multiple credentials preferred. Minimum 10-15 years diversified experience including at least 5 years in consulting. Current HAZWOPER 40-hour and site supervisor training.
